Executive Creative Director, founder
Adam is an architect, designer and creative force behind FreeState, and has been responsible for storyboarding some of the world’s greatest brands. Obsessed with the importance of putting people first, he builds experiences for some of the most exciting clients in the world, from Sony and Samsung to Virgin Atlantic and MTV to Brookfield Property and the City of Blackpool.
Senior Associate, founder
Charlotte directs design at FreeState. An architect by training, she has led numerous large-scale design projects over the last 15 years, for some of the country’s most renowned architects and designers. Recipient of the coveted Art Director Club award and of a Cannes Lion, Charlotte is responsible for the successful translation of creative concept to physical form.
Jet is creative and strategic lead for FreeState Australia. With a background in design, strategy and technology, she helps shape and deliver multi-million projects across multiple channels, geographies and environments. Prior to joining FreeState, Jet worked in various senior capacities for Accenture Australia, Galixo, Arup and the University of Technology Sydney.
Nathan is client and operations lead for FreeState Australia. Having worked for the past 20 years with international brands within advertising, environmental design and technology & innovation practices, he is responsible for the delivery of multi-sector projects and client success. Prior to FreeState, Nathan worked with Downstream, E2, Clemenger BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi.
Yvonne is a project lead at FreeState. Responsible for creating transformative experiences for customers, employees, students and visitors, Yvonne has a strong background in urban,education, workplace, retail, hospitality, and exhibition design. Committed to creating relevant user experiences, she has worked with LendLease, Google, Spotify, Arup and AMP.
Account and Project Manager
Sachi is account and project manager at FreeState. Focusing on building a long-term sustainable relationship with FreeState’s clients, she is responsible for the smooth running of each project. Before joining FreeState, Sachi was area account manager for Procter & Gamble Japan and assistant programme officer for Association for Corporate Support of the Arts.
Yewon helps design FreeState’s projects. With a background research methodology and spatial and narrative theory, and driven by interest in designing special experience and effective communication in social and cultural context, Yewon is responsible for helping our teams deliver impactful user experiences.
Project Coordinator Australia
Maddy helps coordinate FreeState Australia’s projects. With a background in film, television, events and hospitality, a passion for storytelling, and an interest in how ethnographic research informs experience design, Maddy is responsible for helping FreeState Australia deliver wonderful user experiences.
