ADAM SCOTT
Global Creative Director

Adam is an architect, designer and creative force behind FreeState, and has been responsible for storyboarding some of the world’s greatest brands. Obsessed with the importance of putting people first, he builds experiences for some of the most exciting clients in the world, from Sony and Samsung to Virgin Atlantic and MTV to Brookfield Property and the City of Blackpool.

NATHAN BELL
Regional Director, Australia

Nathan is client and operations lead for FreeState Australia. Having worked for the past 20 years with international brands within advertising, environmental design and technology & innovation practices, he is responsible for the delivery of multi-sector projects and client success. Prior to FreeState, Nathan worked with Downstream, E2, Clemenger BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi.

CHARLOTTE BOYENS
Design Director, UK

Charlotte directs design at FreeState. An architect by training, she has led numerous large-scale design projects over the last 15 years, for some of the country’s most renowned architects and designers. Recipient of the coveted Art Director Club award and of a Cannes Lion, Charlotte is responsible for the successful translation of creative concept to physical form.

CHRIS CALLANDER
Project Director, Australia

Chris is a Project Director for FreeState Australia. He is responsible for communications with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to facilitate project delivery. Chris has a strong background in digital project management and significant experience in agencies and client side delivery, Prior to FreeState, Chris worked with MYOB, AndMine, The White Agency and Oxygen.

SACHIKO OSAWA
Project Manager, UK

Sachi is account and project manager at FreeState. Focusing on building a long-term sustainable relationship with FreeState’s clients, she is responsible for the smooth running of each project. Before joining FreeState, Sachi was area account manager for Procter & Gamble Japan and assistant programme officer for Association for Corporate Support of the Arts.

JESS WATSON
Visual Designer, Australia

Jess is a Visual Designer at FreeState. With a background in corporate branding and place visioning, she was lead designer for Best Visual Identity and Best Overall Identity at the Transform Awards APAC. Jess has a passion for meaningful design and helps us across experience design, place narratives and place-making. She is skilled in both strategic and design thinking.

LIBBI RIGBY
Business Director, Australia

Libbi is a Business Director for FreeState Australia. Over the last 15 years she has been working across the disciplines of brand, user experience, wayfinding and experiential marketing leading many well recognised brands and design programmes throughout Australia, UK and Europe. Building a trusted relationship and engaging with clients and stakeholders alike, Libbi supports and leads the strategic fundamentals and outcomes of a design-led project.

LEIGH WHITTAKER
Strategy Director, Australia

Leigh is the Strategy Director at FreeState and brings over 15 years in designing and leading engaging and future focused strategies across the Australia, Asia and the US. He is known as a systems thinker, storyteller and explorer, bringing together these elements to craft experiences that inspire and empower. Prior to FreeState, Leigh worked on large and complex experience design and organisational transformations within Government, Financial Services, Telecoms, Retail, FMCG, Utilities, Education and Professional Services.

HANNAH GREEN
Project Administrator, Australia

Hannah is a Project Administrator and business support for the Freestate team in Australia. She is responsible for bringing experiences to life by collaborating with the design and strategy team, as well as our client partners in delivering innovative and unique experiences. Having worked previously in multidisciplinary design studios, Hannah has a broad experience across areas of design thinking, events, branding and architecture.
